Recognizing the initial importance of getting prepared for the two Koreas’ unification, this conference was held in Seoul on October 5-8, 1997, to have leading German experts share their unification experiences and discuss policy implications for Korea. This conference was supported by the Joongang Daily Newspaper, the SK Group, and the Asia Foundation.
