From the geopolitical and geoeconomic perspective, Korea has to be especially sensitive to external changes in order to avoid the repetition of the painful history of the late 19th Century. Korea should be prepared to face challenges and take advantage of opportunities brought by these changes.

Since its establishment in 1993, the Institute for Global Economics has been carrying out various activities in order to suggest alternative strategies for both the Korean government and business firms in adapting to the rapidly changing global economic and technological environment. So far, our activities have been highly appreciated by both Korean policy makers and business strategists.

Being a non-profit private entity, the Institute for Global Economics is unable to carry out these activities without the support of our corporate and individual members like you. I extend my sincere appreciation to all those supporters. I am looking forward to getting their supports and encouragements in the years to come.

Thank you,
